Why choose Kidvelo?

Learning to ride looks different for every child. Kidvelo makes lightweight balance bikes for little beginners and larger bikes for children who are ready to learn at their own pace.

The Rookie 12 gives younger riders a light, easy-to-handle first balance bike. For older beginners, the Rookie 14 and Rookie 18 start as balance bikes, so children can get comfortable with steering, balance and braking. When they’re ready, you fit the included pedal kit and they can learn to pedal on the bike they already know and love.

With a choice of three sizes, the winner can pick the Kidvelo that fits their child now, whether those first rides are just beginning or pedals are the next step.

No need to wait...

Why hold off if your child's ready for a new bike? There's no reason to wait for the draw before getting them out on two wheels.

If you buy a Kidvelo bike during the competition (between 1 and 31 October 2026) and you turn out to be our winner, Kidvelo will either refund what you paid or put it towards your child's next size bike when they're ready, whichever works best for your family.
